Welcome to the Hatched on MDI website. For those of you who aren't familiar with Maine, MDI is the abbreviation for Mount Desert Island. Our store is located on the beautiful rocky coast of Eastern Maine, where we are adjacent to Acadia National Park.

Hatched on MDI caters to our small town of 2,000 year round residents and our summer clientele. We carry a variety of unique colorful clothing, from premie up to size 12 along with toys and accessories. We try our best to be different from other retail stores, yet keep a large selection of clothing to suit everyone's tastes.

Owner, Heather Brown, was born and raised on Mount Desert Island and knows how important a small community can be. Mrs. Brown has appreciated all of the local support throughout the past 6 years and looks forward to helping find that perfect gift for all future buyers.
